
Co-founder of Evergreen Strategic Partners, Craig was born and raised in Maine. This combined with his service in the Armed Forces as a member of the 3rd Ranger Battalion, stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia, helped Craig form his pragmatic approach to his career as a financial advisor, and his client-centric approach to financial planning.
Craig has nearly 15 years of experience assisting clients with financial and insurance services. He is committed to establishing personal relationships with his clients. Craig believes this is critical to developing individualized, cohesive financial plans that reflect and target both short and long term plans, while allowing for the normal ups and downs of a life well lived. While specializing in assisting college and university faculty and staff members, he also works through CPA’s and Estate Planning attorneys in helping successful small business with a wide variety of tax reduction strategies.
Craig maintains FINRA Series 6, 7 and 66 Securities Registrations through LPL Financial. He is also licensed in Life, Health and Variable Contracts. He is also on the Board of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, an organizations committed to continuing education for advisors.
Prior to forming Evergreen, Craig spent more than 10 years at Penobscot Financial Advisors, where he was an Investment Advisory Representative of ING Financial Partners. He also worked for California Casualty Insurance Company in Phoenix, Arizona, where he serviced members of the Arizona Education Association. Craig began his career as a Registered Representative for New England Financial.
Born in Camden, Maine, Craig grew up on Mt. Desert Island, where he attended Mt. Desert Island H.S. before graduating from Bangor Christian in 1984, and attending college at Liberty University and George Mason University, both in Virginia.
Always active in his community, Craig is a volunteer for Junior Achievement, which focuses on financial literacy for students in grades K-12.
Craig lives in Hampden, Maine and has two children: his son Jackson and his daughter Samantha Grace. In addition to spending time with his family, Craig enjoys spending time on Mt. Desert Island, playing golf and running. He completed the 2011 Portland Half Marathon, the 2016 Tough Mountain Challenge at Sunday River, and the 2016 02X Challenge at Loon Mountain, New Hampshire.
